Web Developer (Toronto)

As part of our Marketing Team, the Web Developer is responsible for executing front-end web development work for SmartSimple’s website, client and internal projects. They will be responsible for the website and its integration with SmartSimple and will lead all aspects of these projects from start to finish. The Web Developer will also assist in designing, developing and executing corporate print materials, including brochures, handouts, advertisements and other collateral as required. The incumbent will also execute various digital marketing tactics as outlined by the Director of Marketing and the Customer Acquisition Specialist. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.

Marketing Specialist - Client Acquisition

The Client Acquisition Specialist supports the organization by deploying marketing tactics as outlined in the overall marketing strategy. The Client Acquisition Specialist will be an expert in product offerings and is a key player in marketing tactics targeted towards client acquisition. They will work closely with the Writer, Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Web Developer, and under the direction of the Director of Marketing to carry out multiple campaigns.

The Marketing Specialist will help client organizations realize the full value of their investment in SmartSimple’s SaaS/cloud services. They will play an important role in driving the retention of existing clients. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Writer, Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Web Developer, and under the direction of the Director of Marketing to carry out multiple campaigns.

Systems Administrator

We are looking for a Linux System Administrator that can thrive within multiple ranging environments. The System Administrator works with the Development team to provide the infrastructure necessary to power SmartSimple's business. Primary duties include the procurement, administration, and maintenance of server infrastructure, as well as the continual updating and improvement of the technology. SmartSimple is a cloud-based SaaS solution that operates over CentOS Linux-based servers, and a stack comprised of Apache, Tomcat, MariaDB. These environments are deployed over various platforms ranging from cloud virtualization within Amazon AWS to some legacy bare metal servers hosted in colocation. Since 2002, SmartSimple has been providing organizations with an innovative, cloud-based software solution that automates a wide range of business processes in multiple vertical markets, including grants, research and claims management. Our system is used by tens of thousands of people every month, working in more than 100 countries around the world. Our company is technologically advanced, culturally diverse and continuously growing with offices in Toronto, Dublin, and across the U.S.

Business Analysts work with System Solution Architects to identify business requirements, address usability concerns, and document solutions. As a member of the Implementation Team, the Business Analyst supports the team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Community Support (Toronto)

Inside Sales/BD Representative (North Carolina/D.C./MD/VA)

Pre-Sales Consultant will be responsible for lead generation and supporting the Sales and Marketing team. The Pre-Sales Consultant will have the opportunity to work with our experienced sales staff to grow our business in the Philanthropic market. The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that can assume a sales role in a B2B environment. This position will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and building leads in our core business areas.

Lead Generation Manager (USA)

The Lead Generation Manager will be responsible for Lead Generation and supporting the Sales and Marketing team. The Lead Generation and Inside Sales Associate will have the opportunity to work with our experienced sales staff to grow our business in the Philanthropic market. Business Analyst (Dublin, Ireland)

Under the direct guidance of the Project Manager and with the mentorship of senior technical staff, the Business Analyst will be responsible for platform configuration of client systems in the execution of all levels of project work. This role works in close collaboration with the Systems Solution Architects (SSA), Sr. Business Analysts (SBA), the Project Manager (PM), and the Development team, to ensure project deliverables and project timelines are achieved. This is a highly technical, client-facing role.
